The Soccer Bunch

Here is another pic of Ethan and his buddies at soccer. They are all dressed the part, but they are not really sure about playing. hahaha. I think the boys are definitely enjoying themselves more...especially since they are older. In most of the other pics that we took that day, the adult/child ratio is like 5:1. hahaha.

Am I Four Yet?

Almost everyday, Ethan asks me if he is 4 yet, even though his third birthday was just this past May. It is so funny how little kids have no sense of time. He refers to everything before today as yesterday...even if it was months ago. He also associates age with size. So the fact that we keep telling him that he is getting bigger is probably making him more confused about when he is going to turn 4.

This photo is from a family reunion that we went to recently. Ethan was determined to play with all the big kids. Whenever I say that he is "little" he reminds me that he is not a baby anymore and is "a little bit big". They grow up way too fast...

Playdough Time

This week we went to Henderson, NV to visit grandma and grandpa Chan. Ethan spent Wednesday morning out in the patio consumed by the possibilities of yellow playdough.

Growing Up

Here is a shot of Ethan checking himself out in the mirror. He's not a baby anymore.

Just Lounging

This is the shot that I took the other day when Ethan kept insisting upon leaning his blue chair up against our couch to watch tv. I though it was so funny that this little boy was trying to lounge like a man. He's growing up so fast! sniff, sniff.

Waking Up

I had to wake Ethan up from his nap today...and all of you mothers out there know how well that went. It probably didn't help that I was forcing him to pose for the camera.

Ethan and Daddy

Like father, like son. Especially the eyebrows.

Hiking with the Aunties

Last month, we went hiking in the San Gabriel Mountains with some family members. Ethan made it about half way, and then rode on willing shoulders. At the end of the path we found a refreshing waterfall and had a wonderful picnic lunch. The last part of the hike was straight up and we had to push Ethan in his umbrella stroller. We had to keep switching off every 5 minutes due to major cases of burning thighs. Definitely fun, but exhausting!

Christmas Morning

Well we haven't been taking too many photos lately, so I'm digging around in our archives for pictures. Here's one I found from Christmas morning.

Literally Chillin' in Vegas

Last month we took a trip to Vegas with some friends of ours. Their son is just about Ethan's age, and the two of them had a blast together (even though they completely wore the rest of us out). They stopped for a moment to pose in Grandma and Grandpa Chan's backyard. As you can tell from the oversized jackets and mismatched snow hats, Vegas is a little cold in the winter.
